I can't get the bloody thing to program The instructions says to hold down the SET key and the lights will flash etc...but that doesn't happen Any idea's? Also, what programming card would you buy for this ESC? Its a 80a HObbyKing Brushless ESC Thanks for the help |

I just programmed mine this evening. Hold down the red set button (hold it in) and switch the ESC on. Continue to hold down for 5-6 seconds. Then let go, color will change, then press full forward trigger -stuff happens in the ESC, then full reverse, more stuff happens, leave in neutral, more stuff happens. Turn ESC off then back on and presto.
The most important thing is to MAX out the throttle endpoints on radio, and your throttle channel must be in reverse direction. running 2100 kV motor on e-maxx with 2s 4400 lipos x (2) 18 tooth pinion and 68 spur with the regular e-maxx version 2 size tires (not the 3.3 or brushless max tires). Everything is working well, good take off, good brakes, good reverse, top speed is impressive. Still too early to tell if temp will be an issue, more to come. |
