I am new to this hobby and finished building my parkjet last night, It isn't a stock parkjet it has a 3400kv brushless motor, 45amp ESC, 4.5x4.5e prop and a 3cell rhino 1350 25c series lipo.
Well i try'd to give it a maiden flight but it kept rolling left and down every time i chucked it in the air. I double checked to see if it was centered and it was. Well long story short the 20mm stick mount snapped, in the process making the prop chew up the left and right elevators. Prop is completely screwed. :( I didn't even get to have 1 good fly :( time for me to buy some replacement parts |

A minimal technical knowledge is required for this hobby; please ensure you know the differences between up and down.

If it's the hobbyking parkjet, then you should NEVER use the motor mount that came with it.
Notorious for nose dive due to wrong thrust angle. I still can't understand why hobbyking still supply that kit with the problematic mount without explaining how to mount the right angle. |

I 100% agree with you, I should have got the bixler or j3 cub. I will buy one of those when i buy replacement parts for my parkjet
Is there anything i can do to fix the angle/problem. I'm using the stock stick mount with this motor mount:
LOL @ the video.. That's mocking me

Everything in this video is what i have on/in my plane. I noticed that in this video he has lowered the stick mount by cutting the stick slot deeper. Would this be to get the right angle of the motor? Also do you know what the black strip is under the the plane? normal covering film? |

So to fix the torque roll all i need to do is mount the motor 2 degrees downwards and 3 degrees to the right |
