I am looking to buy my first boat and was wandering what boat handles best in choppy watter I want something fast 40+ but that is not going to flip all the time.Any suggestions

Hi Diamond,
Yes other than a U boat you should be looking at a hull with the most beam. If you are choosing out of the HK range the Princess is maybe the one of the picks. You will have to consisider beam, low CG. , pref mono hull as the cats tend to be narrow and love straight runs where monos tend to turn better. Having said that any RC boat do not like choppy water. It all comes down to size. You can get hulls that self right themselves if this is a problem for you but HK do not sell these as yet. Rule of thumb is beam is about one third the boats length so it may be a starting point for you. Good luck.
