thanks for sharing my build thread. yes your right . you need to strengthen the landing gear and setup a latch for the canopy.

	Thanks boostoman, for posting the link, again. Nice thread hopefully I can add to it somewhere. I didn't like the tab hinges, just seemed like too much force needed to hold the surface at full deflection. Lot of good points there though....Cheers

	No worries boostoman, its is a great thread and a must read for anyone considering this aircraft. I know where you are talking about Hoverin, I have driven past many times however I did not know you could fly there. Do you belong to a club or do you go of your own accord..? I can’t think of a better place to find a smooth runway in every direction.. I just go down and fly at the local park however I was thinking of joining a club.. I’m trying to attach a pic of my Extra. Snappy said something about a tree with a blue arrow but I only get an icon with a green tree and it only gives me the same option you had "enter the web address of the image", but I’ve done a bit of address cuttin and pastin so I’ll see what happens....... 	Hi all, just a quick update on my extra 260... Took it out again last weekend and it performed very well, however I’m still in sport mode... Not converted to 3D yet. I have bought this new motor and some props to try and get my power train setup correctly.

	Hi Hoverin Yes me too, I ordered the motor two weeks ago and it was posted yesterday because of the holidays, so should see it in a week or two. It should drop right in... I Hope... What Kv is your motor and what size battery do you plan to use....?

	Hi Turbo, Here's the Motor And ESC I have a mate that used to have a Zivko Edge,(met an untimely demise) roughly the same size as this bird. He ran 2x2200 3s Turnigy's in parallel. Had stupid flight times 10-15min plus. I'm going to look at this setup initially and if happy will stick with it. In hobby room at the moment :-)

	Hi Hoverin Looks like this will be an excellent combo... I have received a plug harness I ordered to try a twin battery setup(could have made it but so cheap to buy) have not used as yet... 15 mins in the air would be great...
