hi all, re- hk tigermoth topwing mounting. it appears wing is only held in place by gluing to its 8 struts. rigging wire is just for show. is this setup strong enough, i'd hate for top wing to fail mid-flight. has anyone had any probs with this thanx for any help,

Ok pinpot the rigging wire is structural and add considerable strength to the set up.

Don't forget to mix in about 50% rudder with ailerons and good luck

You are not gonna believe this. Put plane on back seat of 4wd, went to get tx, came back to car and found one of our dogs had gone in through back doors, jumped seat and landed on plane. Wheres my gun? HK don't do spares, so its gonna have to be a new one.
Oh well, as they say over here, " such is life"
Lets hope the next one has a longer lifespan,

HK have just declared somewhere that they are going to be a full range of spares
for all their models, hang on to the bits.

You write above about rudder - aileron mixing. Can you tell more about?
It need about better, flying mode this plane? Please, if not problem write for us more about good transmitter set up this plane.
