Hello,
my question about the Turnigy 450 H2218 Brushless outrunner 3550KV is, do the HK Parkjet fly with this motor an 30A ESC and a 4,75x4,75 Prop? On 3S 1800 mAh? or what do u think? |

have not seen them use that high of KV most are 2200~2800 the smaler props are not very effcent.
2100 page Put this motor in F-22 foamie with TowerPro 40amp ESC, 7X5E prop, 3s 2200mah 25c lipo. Pulls just under 40 amps and just under 400 watts on Turnigy Watt Meter. Haven't try a 4s battery yet since I will need to use 50-60amp ESC. Will probably go down to 6X4 or 6X5 TGS speed prop. 2500 has lots some close to the 4.75 prop size Edited by airwave - 07/Jan/2012 at 8:28am |

did not say it would not work.you ask about motor,ESC, battery.
motor= 500 watts at 3 cell this is ~43 amps the esc you said would be 30 ~370 watts battery 1800ma ~43 amps would be~25C =2.4 MIN. flight times at WOT. don,t know the speed of the plane.but IF you could get the same pitch speed from a lower KV motor and less amps it would be better flight times even if this was at 4 cell count. at ~12,15 buck for the motor parts in hand why not try it the ESC looks small to me IMO |

this would be at max watts,if it takes 300 watts to push the plane at speed it will last longer. |

if you already have this setup i would use the one you have. the ESC is the part in ?,a 40~50 amp would seem more able to take the loads would just hate to see your plane wreck do to the fact the ESC died on you. i would try what you have but would not run at full throtle till i checked the temp of ESC at say 1/2,to 3/4 speed. |
