Hi there.
Can you tell me what sort of headspeed you are flying your HK250gt's at? I am a little concerned with a 3500kv motor and a 15 tooth pinion we will be hitting 5000 rpm is this a little high for the heli, or is it OK. I only chose the motor as it was in the recommended listing for the kit. Should I be using a smaller pinion around the 12 or 13 tooth? Can anybody help? Thanks Busher |

Go to HELIFREAK.COM there is a ton of info on 250 size heli's there. But i think the recommended head speed is around 3800 to 4000. But dont quote me on that.

The max rpm it is said to be 4500 - from t-rex 250 manual.
If you fly in normal mode - you won't get 4500 rpm because at 100% throttle you has +12..+14 angle. If you fly in idle mode - when you have -2..2 angle you can get even 4700 rpm on 100% throttle so I think it is wise to set 100%..85(90)%..100% throttle curve. |
