For practical reasons, I would like to power the RC in a motorless sailplane with a 2S lipo. The receiver (Spektrum AR6200) can handle 9,6 V, but the servo's only 6.
In fact, it amazes me that in these Lipo-powered times (I can even buy a lipo for my transmitter!) there does not seem to be a (Spektrum) receiver that converts current down to 6V for the servo's, or any lightweight servo's that can handle 7,4 V etc. (at least I cannot find them).
I am even considering adding an ESC just for this purpose - I'll have to add ballast up front anyway... but it seems a ridiculous solution. Are there any better options?
