syhammer, you may wish to look at this one also.
TY-2730 it is faster than stock the air boat is a 400 size boat from what i have read. if you can drill it out easy some of these have a 10mm stab on them.i rewind the 2410& 2409 all the time realy just get it for the "kit" part and pull the windings. there is a shaft that will fit the 3mm and take it to 2.3mm (standard 400/370 can type motor size).it looks as if i will have to change to the TY motors as the towerpro and ty 24/09,10 have not restocked for some time now. the stock prop looks as if it had a press on mount for it with a cone??. you could use the 3mm with a standard prop.there is some one that is looking to up grade so IF you try any of thease please let all know how it comes out the motor i suggest are the cheep ones so that you don,t waste a lot of cash to try. |

no that would be close to 30,000 rpm. 2 cell only @~ 12 amps you will be ok.not sure for the prop, all 5x5 are not the same.
if your looking for more power i would say.5x5 or 3 blade 5x4~5 on 3 cell. stock ESC will not hold up on this. bell Edited by airwave - 06/Mar/2012 at 3:29pm |

Hi, I just bought a swamp dawg and although its a cheap boat I'm still dissapointed with the quality. The hull is so badly warped I can't use it and the motor won't even fit into the mount.
