They cool thing about that video is that is seems impossible to do, But i have seen it done with a 1/3 scale plane (RC) -that looked insane, but it came down in one piece, make that two piece, but one was a controlled landing, the wing fell down by it's own.

Not a cool video but a sad one. Bryan Jensen the pilot of the famous and much modelled biplane "The Beast" crashed and was killed.

Look close its cgi. One of beni's of being partially color blind, I can pick out cg artifacts really easy.   
Build - fly - crash - repeat!

They did well getting them apart and on the ground safely. I'm only guessing but the other one surely must have glassed his wings, or at least the tips to slice so neatly into the others fuse like that.
