What I did was wrap the rod got fit snug........then I glue the wings together.......keeping the wing in one piece solved the problem of the wings rotating on the rod.....after they are screw into the fusl*ge you have a nice solid fit without the trouble of drilling holes in the rod.

Dear Hircflyer
Thanks for your response, but we "live" at Hungary. We haven't big living areas and cars. My working room is only 3x2,5 meters. I need fit all my planes at this place, (Ok.we have balcony and small container room out of our home). So I need decrease my hobby goods places.
Finally I do this modification on my ASK-2100. It was not simple, but came of well. We need be very careful at this procedure. I do some photos about. Not an nice but practical.

Very nice job......did you reinforce the slots in the foam in the wing ? I can see where the slots would tend to enlarge over time.

Hi Hircflyer, Guys
This slots on pictures is after dremel cutting
My plane at still don't do any flys
Maybe my making slots aren't very nice but practical. They don't need more reinforces. It only for fast mounting. I do some more little modifications at my ASK-2100. Put 20mm aluminium self taping foil around inside the plastic motor mount. It about preventing hot from motor warming. I hope that is enough. Outer side plastic motor mount is painting to red. For me it better and nicer.
Sorry about this modifications, I haven't time making photos, tomorrow I do it. Best regards. Kapitany |

Hi,
Any tips for removing the standard motor? The bell motor fixing screws are not readily accessible. How did you guys do it? |

HI Sprialdive
At the white motor mount there are two little hole in plastic. In plane set you found mini "hex. grub screwdriver" you can with it open two grubs and remove bell motor front size. Use torch to find they positions! Holes making not an very good positions. When replace my motor, I drill one more additional hole for new motor mount.
That's all. Best regards Kapitany |

Hi Kapitany,
Many thanks for your prompt and helpful response. I had thought that the two holes were for motor fixing but they appeared to go nowhere. I will try again with a torch. Thanks again. Regards, Sprialdive |

Hi Guys
Sorry for long silence. I working on my new plane "TigerMoth". Wait good weather for testing my ASK-21. At last weekend I think, time is arrived for it. First take-off was very interesting, like a bear.
Motor power is very light. Center of gravity at this time was at factory suggested 5cm. from leading edge. We need add more 50g. weigh to the noise. new start about additional weigh was some better and stable. I use 1800mAh Poliquest battery at first fly. My next idea, change motor with bigger power (Turnigy Park 480) and use 2200mAh battery, about more weigh. Some pictures about my first test fly:
