I am upgrading my Pursuit. What would be best. 4s lipo in parallel or just a single 4s lipo. I would like to run 4s lipos. Lipos in parallel would balance the boat. What would anyone recommend.
My setup is Leopard 4074 2150kv, octura 442 prop, Turnigy 180amp w/c esc

i use both ways and can't really tell a difference as the batteries are mounted in the center of the boat. |

Has anyone use this setup on the Pursuit??
KD36-74-09XL 1900KV from HK on 4S.
What is the max prop size and max amps for this motor if I want it to last.
Thanks
I place my 4000 4S in the middle..never flip over on max trottle turns.

I also run my Pursuit with the 4074 on 4S 5S and 6S. I config my pack
on 3S5000 and 2S5000, get 2 of each then u can connect it in series mix and match the pack to get 4S 5S and 6S. Having 2 seperate packs help with your CG setup. Dont use Deans..use the bigger bullet connectors. My system pulls 120 amps with 6S with the El Cheapo plane HK200 ESC add a watercool jacket. Great with 5S but gets hot on 6S. |

Rule of thumb here is to run heavier items down the centre line, I think from memory I had my CG point at around 250mm from the transom. I do miss that boat....It always made me smile everytime I ran it

Anyone know which program card actually works with the Turnigy Marine 120A esc. I bought the Turnigy TG-Prog from this website, with the 2.0 software version with face plate stating 12 program settings(timing is setting No 9), but it will only access the first 4 basic settings???
