Hi,

Please answer a simple question:

What kind of propellers i have to use in the + configuration like it is in the manual for the Hk board?

motors 1 and 4 with counter rotating propellers
motors 2 and 3 with normal propellers

it is correct?

So the board manual is wrong then? It shows 1 and 4 rotating counter-clockwise (normal direction when viewing from the front of the prop).

No ... the manual is correct.

My question was about the propellers only.

Well, I see a contradiction there. My son has the contras on 2 & 3 and it works great.

With the HK board, I believe that the motor number (1, 2, 3 or 4) and the rotation of the motors changes with both the configuration + or X and the firmware installed.

With the standard preloaded firmware and a + configuration, facing the top of the quad:

Motor 1 is at 12:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 2 is at 9:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 3 is at 3:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 4 is at 6:00 and goes counter clockwise

With Minsoo Kim's (KKMulticopter) firmware and a + configuration, facing the top of the quad:

Motor 1 is at 12:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 2 is at 9:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 3 is at 3:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 4 is at 6:00 and goes clockwise

With Minsoo Kim's (KKMulticopter) firmware and an X configuration, facing the top of the quad:

Motor 1 is at 11:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 2 is at 2:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 3 is at 5:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 4 is at 8:00 and goes counter clockwise

With Kaptain Kuk's V4.7 firmware and an X configuration, facing the top of the quad:

Motor 1 is at 11:00 and goes clockwise
Motor 2 is at 8:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 3 is at 2:00 and goes counter clockwise
Motor 4 is at 5:00 and goes clockwise

As you can see from the pictures, still need to tidy
up the leads on this TriCopter, but attatching all the
power leads to a central point is easy if you use a PCB power distribution board.

Easy to make yourself, as it's just 2 rings with exposed
pads for conecting the + and - power leads to and the 2 slots
at the bottom allow for a small ON-OFF Switch to be inserted . . .

Real simple, and as i only need 3 ESC's for the TriCopter,
I have 5 more pads available to power other items and extras,
such as the onboard battery monitor, nightflying / Nav lights etc.
and will have the same setup on the HK Quad i have as well.

I mount my ones underneath the control board, as the holes match.

Pyramid models now have the V2 KK MultiCopter Power Board in stock , these apparently enable even more connections than the ones i have above.
