Snappy, did you have any cooling problems?

I'm building the J-3 version and using an RCGF20CC engine and am planning to put a 50 mm round aluminum louver in the cowl bottom and am hoping that along with the front cowl openings will pass enough cooling air. What was your experience? I know you opened up some area on the dummy engine tops under the baffles.

Tkx for your feedback.

I removed the area under the scoops and drilled a hole in front of the
dummy cylinder ( you can't see it in flight)

Perhaps somebody can help me with following:

I'm goiing to install a rcgf 20 cc petrol gas-engine and in the manual they wrote that i must install the gastank with the black stopper and when you use a nitromotor the stopper must have the coffeecolor.
When you look in the shop of Hobbyking they mentioned the coffeecolor for gas-engines and black for nitro-engines.

What is is correct?

Thanks Snappy, now i'm sure about that. I don't understand why nobody in the Chinese factory or office saw that mixed up! The same as the delivery of the windscoops for the dummy engine. In the manual they are mentioned
as an article which had to be in the box, but there are some buyers told me that they where not in the box of the aircraft.

Snappy, how long in the petrol? I put it around 6 hours in petrol, but nothing changed.
