I found the Align stuff did fix the mesh a bit, but not enough. You can see the result of the mesh in the video...that is all align....hk was worse.
I did try ALL the Align gears in the HK case, they fit well, a lot tighter fit, force needed to get gear into bearings, but that didn't fix it. With the align case and gears, it was a fraction better. Could the bolt holes mounting the main shaft/bearings be off a fraction? If you decide to buy the Align case, you need to buy the 2 bearings (Umbrella gear that makes contact with tt) as well, cos the bearing molds are different, hk uses a metal sleeve with the bearings inside of it, which then sits in case, whereas align has 2 bearings only no sleeve, the mold has 2 spots for bearings that the sleeve wouldn't fit into. I replaced the entire tail with an align TT kit and it's been smooth sailing from there. I ended up replacing all of the other parts of the heli to align as well. Only my main frames are HK. The heli now flies great. I wouldn't buy a 500 size clone again. I'll stick to hk's 450's only. Hopefully the new 600 pro clone is a good copy.
