Topic: Question of Paypal Payment at HobbykingPosted: 20/Mar/2011 at 6:52am |

I was trying to make an order to Hobbyking and have reached to payment stage.
I have experience to pay it with Paypal before so I choose the Paypal but it ask me to input a new credit card number even I have two activated credit card in Paypal.
I am not quite sure that I have to input a new credit card number whenever I order and pay it throgh the Paypal...
If no more new credit card, I have to remove the activated card from Paypal account and put this once again? It takes "1 dolloar" everytime to register the new card.
Please explain me it is correct, or any other reason.

Contact paypal, tell them this, they can help you...
But first, heres some info you should know and lets see if we can help you right here. Paypal shouldn't require you to enter your credit card number if you have an account, IF I'm not mistaken, what you're doing is paying directly via credit card and Paypal is processing the payment for HobbyKing without. If you're doing it right, you should be asked to enter your Paypal username and password and then choose which card, etc. through a paypal portal that will say HEXTRONIC on the top left side of the page, the items you ordered under it and on the right side it will ask you for your paypal log in info. I just checked it...... it should work... I almost bought a Cell log! try it now, if it doesn't work contact paypal. ![]() Edited by Mr&MrsNifty - 20/Mar/2011 at 7:08am |

Thank you, Mr&MrsNifty
but as you worrying, I am not doing payment directly via credit card. I have got into the page of paypal payment named hextronik but it is shown as hextronik limited at the moment to me and it request me "Link a new debit or credit card to make an instant payment"
I hope I can show you this page with screen capture but I don't know how I can post the picture.

On the right side isn't there something that says change (not sure what the Korean translation would be) where you can pick/change your form of payment? Edited by wchiro - 20/Mar/2011 at 5:41pm |

Does anybody know how to cancel a bid on e-Bay? I put in a bid for a “Cowboy Outfit” and it seems I’m only six minutes away from owning the Australian Labor Government ! |

Thank you for all your advice.
I made a phone call to Paypal and cleared the current problem. They told me that it was automatical protection system. I have been informed that Paypal system is able to detect abnormal payment request and to deny the payment. Because it was the first time to use the registered credit card, I think, the system seems to detect that it was obnormal.
But I have compained Paypal what I have to call paypal whenever the reject happened? they said they don't know, probably yes.
By the way, actual solution was the other place. There was one of tips I can do when the payment error occured. they suggested me to erase the internet cash file in my pc and I did. Then I can access into the normal payment procedure. Yes, it would be a tip. Edited by JHCHOI - 21/Mar/2011 at 2:29pm |

Just going through the same thing JHCHOI, rang Paininthea$$Pal and they said the same but told us they had lifted it as I had not had any problems with the vendor. When trying to pay it says at the top of the Paypal page "eCheck is the only option available for this transaction", it only shows when purchasing here....I dont think there is anything in it but as CS have not answered I rekon I'll just cancel and try another day
