Your battery goes under the hatch on the cowling (use velcro to fasten it in).Put your speed controller under the battery.Put your reciever under the servo tray (attach with double sided tape).Make sure your 2 antennas face 2 different directions, preferrably 90 degrees to one another. You will also need a servo reverser for one of your retracts or one will go up and the other will go down. Also i replaced my spinner with a great planes one as the stock spinner has a bad vibration problem.

You can program one of the retracts to be the slave of the other and reverse it programming your radio. as others have posted on this item on the International site.

this is a lovely flying plane but be aware it can pull quite badly to the left on takeoff run just compensate with some right rudder.

About durafly spitfire.

Well about retract they still go opposite direction, I use Hobbyking 6 channel xmtr and I hooked them at channel 5 and 6. channel 6 I selected reverse and with mix 1  and 2 I can control them to go up and down. I noticed that they go separate up and down and really slow.
Like it this way at the moment.
Also I replaced both elevator and rudder servo with metal one's

They say at  HobbyKing site that they changed the servo but with my Durafly it wasn’t the case…..
Sevo's in wing I use stock servo’ s will see how they operate?
My alignment of main wing wasn't ok I had to re alignment the plastic studs.
It seems to me that the prop adapter is chance to another one!

I didn’ t had a test flight yet and I tested TRUST of Spitfire

Used a Zippy 3S2200maH 20c Lipo and stock motor and prop.

I got 1650 grams of trust, plain was about 1300 grams so must be enough I think.

Also I read at reviews that CG is about 88mm from leading edge.

Update about flight will follow when all goes right ha ha……..

Greetings Hans

First flight of Durafly Spitfire

Indeed Spitfire turns really bad to the left when taking off.....
Also I changed the ailerons servos because most people say the stock one's are bad.

Bud main thing it's really flying so well and a pleasure to see in the air.
Landing was the first time a bit tricky it needs a bit of speed to come in.
But the 3 landing went like a smooth touch to the runway.

Flying it with stock motor and prop, 60 esc with separate bec and 2 * 2200maH 3 cells zippy Lipo in parallel.

I changed the angle of motor mount a bit to the right and will test it asap.

see you next time.

greetings Hans
