the pic above shows the bridle attachment anchors. The screws are removed and the plastic tube is inserted through the bridle's hoops. Then the bridle hoops are inserted back into the anchors. The bolt goes through the anchor and tube. This tube keeps the bolt from chaffing the bridle hoops. like below.

Jake,
Looks like you adjusted the AOA more aggressively down for the A and B bridles in the picture accompanying your post. I may try that on my sail since it still will not stay up in a stable way, no matter how loose I keep the brake lines. I still think the sail should fly without twisting and dropping in a mild, steady breeze. Waiting for your launch video, buddy... Herb |

yes I have not experienced your symptoms at all in any of my testings. You may just have a bad foil. You may also need more weight. What is your AUW ready to fly?
AOA. The separation between a and b lines is more aggressive when flying in ANY wind. I almost double the difference of the rest when flying in 5+Mph. The foil is much easier to handle when it penetrates faster imo. I also fly really fast and like to perform stunts at or just above ground level. This is not suggested for new pilots as crashes are going to be eminent. That is why I dont show the super aggressive AOA in the video as there is little to no forgiveness in this configuration. But I do explain it in the pre flight thread that it is personal preference. Launch vids. Will come as soon as I get my trikes. I sent the prototype to HK for template and I have no suitable trike that would not make it confusing. I do not have the time now to build another from scratch so I wait for HK to send me my trikes. When they arrive I promise I will make many many many vids to share. It is driving me nutts! Please understand it is very frustrating not being able to show pics or simple vids as explinations for a really tricky toy to set up. No doubt as more get theit trikes built there will be much problems that would be so easiy to avoid if I just had a product to show them with ![]() bare with me. Im sure they are on their way

duh THANKS. Somehow I missed that from the product page.
How important is it to spread the bridal handles out to 200mm as suggested in the pictures in the build thread? As I don't have easy access to either sheet alunimum and or the equipment to cut it, and the cost to get it online is more than I paid for the gondola, I'm hopeing there is little need to do it or another way?

You will be fine. When you get proficient you will want more stability for more aggressive turning and such. At that point I should have my trikes and the ability to template some quick modification kits. I will make them available here if its ok with the brass.
Ill keep you posted here.

Reinle,
Look at the last pictures of my post. The clear tubing is slit lenghtwise and goes over the forward upper edge of the shroud (blue fiberglass strip) that goes around the prop. If you cannot easily slip them on, put them into hot water for a minute or two. Herb, J7 |
