RC Ornithopters/Birds. These will sell. I am just waiting for hobbyking to carry em. I can't find em anywhere and they cruise the wind so easily like a real bird.
I've seen how real birds easily fought fast winds, and I want an RC Bird/Ornithopter that does the same thing. |

More resources here. How it all works..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcnc81MH65U Basically this BZH07614 dude has HUNDREDS of video of his builds. All his own DIY stuff. They can be build with existing electronics from Hobbyking i think. I like the gracefulness of the bird and the ability to glide. Definitely can get a lot of flight time from these babies and no worries about crashes... they simply could take crashes so much better than planes. |

The Cybird is still being cloned in China this would be a good low price starting point for ornithopters for both Flitetest and HK
In the U.S. Kinkade manufacture some top quality Orni's http://flappingflight.com/store I have a Cybird P1 which is currently out of action due to a main board burnout , but I plan to replace it with conventional gear and modify it to brushless ( One of those "one day" projects ) They fly really well and are quite a blast .... truly different ![]() |

Does anybody know how to cancel a bid on e-Bay? I put in a bid for a “Cowboy Outfit” and it seems I’m only six minutes away from owning the Australian Labor Government ! |

Yea these birds are expensive in most places because the good ones are still mostly made in usa. Not very common but a good one can easily attract birds and eagles and hawks to check you out or attack you. They really fly like real thing and fool even real birds.

Here's how a dual gearing ornithopter works. Some uses only 1 main big gear, this one uses 2.
