Hi GuysShocked

An very interesting information!!!

At, one of some week earlier ordered Turnigy 9C transmitter module we found 3 quartz!!!!!
In this module we found on panel, name "Flysky" too. Conclusion, there are some version of modules at sales with Turnigy transmitters. I think, it about different factories products!!!
This is very interesting!!! Maybe not same module in this radios at different countries. (but prices not same too.)

Kapitany

To Jpparisy, We change regulator IC7805 in module. Some better, but only weakly, at this time servos left default positions approx 3 grade! At different modules different resolutions!

Hi Guys,

My Turnigy 9x v2 has this problem and HH gyro's really magnify the issue when heli flying.  I have also emailed Hobbyking - hoping for better luck.

So basically what's happening is, the factory cheated by omitting quartz crystals in the stock Turnigy 9x V2.

This is bad bad news. It reflects exactly the cheap skate conman mentality of Chinese manufacturers.

Hobbyking needs to address this with the factory.

They cannot allow them to cut corners by not including quartz crystals !

This might cause servo failures and accidents in heli models, and further disgrace hobbyking's name.

It only re-inforces what people have said all along, 'Chinese crap'.

OK, my over-simplistic solution is to switch my 9x on 20 minutes before I intend to use it.

It would be nice to have a proper solution though Smile

Kapitany  you said FrSky return just 1º of drift, thats normal? i never heard a JR or Futaba radio with such a problem, it just should not dirft a single degree.FrSKy was supposed to be one of the top cheap brands in the market, and now i read it has 1º of freedom? i don't allow a single degree :(

Kapitany does the model with 3 crystals, with FlySKy label, drift a bit too? maybe 1º like Frsky ? or just nothing?

damn... why frsky also do drift? i am disappointed... a lot.

I am starting to wonder if it's really the Turnigy tx units OR it's the servos he's using and the power/voltage that is not consistent.

Hi Coptor,

We testing Turnigy 9C after detecting "Bug", with two different modules. At first with FlySky, than with "Frsky". Only with FlySky we can detecting max. 1% drift. With FrSky it working fine!!! There are not any drift!!!Big smile You can use it for your heli, without worry!!!
Best regard.

Kapitany

Don't forget, your tests are not really practical because it has no real load.

It's when there're actual load on the servos, then you can see how much difference.

That needle pin is not really considered a load.

I do not see how the load on the servos can affect the transmitter. Can you elaborate?
