Hi Hobbyking!!!
There are very strange "bug" at version 1 and 2 trasmitters!!! After power on Turnigy 9c system, with all adjusted servos (at any temperatures), after 10 minutes they lost default settings approx 5 degree (visually you can see it at bigger marked clock background)! It you can see only at putting long wire on servo arms and marked default position!. This problem very bad at fine adjusting helicopters servos!!! We think, it about to long working temperature time attainment. If system is heat not more problem!!! But time for it is to long. Please help us to resolve this problem!!! Thanks. Kapitany |

Do you know maybe you just got a bad radio? Have you tried other module and receiver maybe frsky?

At our Hungarian forum, very must replies about Turnigy 9C transmitter!!!
Problem, about I write, detect some of hungarian users. (but not all). A most of problem only with factories default "Turnigy Modul". We only just do new order, FR-SKY modul for testing this problem. Our engineers friends, say, that is about default impulse generator which have't quartz in system!!! Please dear friends, who detect some problem, tell for us about your ideas ![]() ![]() Thanks Kapitany |

The ATMega64 is driven by a 16Mhz quartz, which is fairly more stable than the voltage regulator.

This problem, generated not from voltage regulator. (say it our engineers friends at Hungarian Topic). It about no quartz stabilised clock generator for this unit. Can you see my pictures? You can see in this picture that the TH9X has two voltage regulators (red circles), and a 16Mhz quartz (black oval) used as clock generator:
![]() Other components on PCB are pullup resistors or filter capacitors.
As you have engineer friends, send a faulty transmitter to one of them and ask him or her to measure acurately the drift of the voltage regulators (at least 20 000 points) and the frequency shifting of the quartz (at least 8 digits), over time and temperature.
Also, ask him or her to measure the drift voltage at the three points of the stick potentiometers, shown in red ovals in the following picture:

Reading the official schema, I could say it was probably impossible, since all is processed numerically and the PPM decoder being a micro-controller driven by a 12Mhz quartz!
But...
Looking inside the module, I see
I think we begin to approach in finding the culprit. Unfortunately, I don't see how to correct this easily.

![]() Yesterday we do transmitter measurement ![]() There aren't drift at voltage regulators! Problem with factories default Turnigy 2.4GHz module!!! We changing it with other Fly-sky 2.4GHz modul (it same what turnigy), the servos moved out from default position only a little bit, 1 grade after 10 minute. Module have voltage regulator which is some hot , approx 50 c. but stable! There are quartz in module too. So minimal drift can be about it in module too.
