You guys are geniuses.
If I read it right, you are thinking about getting around being taxed, and if you use bonus points to stay under a certain 'cash' amount paid (sometimes as low as $50) you avoid custom/tax fees some countries charge - correct? - Masterstroke. |

It's not only the value written on package that can wake up the people at customs. I am still waiting on my big box with the FPV plane because Hobbyking wrote 'hobby parts' on the customs declaration. ' Hobby parts' is very cryptic to these people.
A big box with ' hobby parts' written on it will be look at different that a big box with 'foam parts for model plane' on it. If you are going to change some thing at the check out process, please think about that too. It would be nice if we could give our own description for the customs declaration form. |

Or maybe 2 times paying ? One paying to Paypal with the customs declaration, and the second the rest ?

Interesting and useful idea. :)
It would also help if the declaration values can be further split into smaller percentages with 5% steps instead of the current 10% steps. Best would be to allow them to be typed in manually by the user instead of selection from existing list. |
