I can't see what the problem is. A set of suitable cables to suit almost all transmitters is available on Ebay for around $9.00 for the lot (about 6 of them) and by using them I can run FMS, Clearview and any software which doesn't need a special dongle. But with the needed dongle I've never had any trouble running all my non transmitter type controllers and my Spektrum, Eurgle, Exceed and other transmitters from 30mhz to 2.4ghz. At the moment I'm using an 8 channel AST cheapie with every flight sim available

I'm into flight sims becaue I've been confined to bed for 7 years. I've never had to use any special software. The only one I have to change the transmitter for is RealFlight where I have to use the purpose made controller. I was lost when I first started but after much mucking about I managed to get a transmitter to work except for Realflight. I'm afraid I never wrote everything I did to get it to work but I just tried everything I could think of until it just worked. Those cables are a great deal, they fit just about all transmitters but usually the 3 connector 2.5mm stereo plug (the same as the small headphone plug) works well. But hey if you get results who cares how you get them.

Does anybody know whether this method will work on a mac computer? I need to know so that I can know if I need to buy another transmitter or a "mock" USB sim transmitter.

Any help would be great.

Hi,
I have a hobby king, HK-7Xv2 2.4GHz, 7 channel transmitter. I followed the SmartPropoPlus instructions for FMS.
My Setup:
The TX is set to PPM mode (RF light is off).
A mono audio jack is connected to the mic input of the PC.
FMS is installed on win7 with SmartPropoPlus.
FMS win7 d3drm.dll issues have been fixed.
SmartPropoPlus is set up for PPM(Generic).
(No filters applied in Smartpropo).

My problem is the following:
SmartPropoPlus receives the signal, but the channels interfere with each other. (Even after calibrating). When I move one stick on the transmitter, all the channels on FMS move (each with different amounts). This is not random movement, but with respect to how much I move the stick. This is the case for all the channels. It seems that SmartPropoPlus cannot decode the PPM signal properly. I have tried the other PPM and PCM settings on SmartPropoPlus, but with no success.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Has anyone got the HK-7Xv2 to work with smartpropoplus?

hi christo, i had that problem to.
what you have to do is turn off your transmitter and turn it back on holding down the two buttons on the left to enter model select mode. select a model your not using and then set the model type to either H1 or AV depending on what you are flying in the sim (H1 for heli). reset the transmitter to ppm mode and now the outputs should be seperated. you will also need to goto ppjoy and mess around with the chanel configurations.
i found HeliSimRc good to use with this because you can map the controlls in the sim. I still havent tried with FMS, think i could only get three chanels to work.
If you want some screen shots of my setup, just ask.

I can't start Realflight G4 with HK T6A. I'm using T6sim 1.0 and PPjoy 0.83 and i'm geting "No authorized InterLink found.  Make sure youre Interlink Elite is plugged in and try agan". Anyone knows if they are compatible?

Never mind, I set T6sim's process to high and now works great.

Only if you dual boot into a Windows installation. I've seen it working perfectly like that.
