I know about this problem (luckily my Tx wasn't affected...). You can send it back to China or do Your own mod - reflash firmware. On the web I've seen many versions, even the original ones.
It exists a AVR programmer whis is able to be connected solderless to the main processor so no traces of the mod if it'll not work for You. |

Eric, when you come back from "La Poste", can you tell us the amount asked to send the parcel to China ?
Cheers,

Good suggestion Hally: syva lives at exactly seventeen (17) kilometers from my home.
So, if he don't choose to send back the parcel to HK, I can assist him if needed or even redeem the radio, if he's not confortable with soldering.

I received 2 units today and both are having the problem mentioned.
While in SYSTEM mode, the STICK MODE could not be selected, no highlight on any of the four modes. In TYPE SELECT, ACRO could not be selected, only Heli and Glider is possible. The MODEL NAME has weird characters along the first line. In SETTING, the DISPLAY did not respond to the stick movement. E.POINTS all displayed 089% on all channels. The LCD displayed some funny characters at the bottom. There were much more weird things, but just to name a few. It would be costly to mail the 2 tx back to China for warranty claim. Is there any fix that can be done by the user? |

Rest well tonight. "La nuit porte conseil" (French proverb, untranslatable).
