FLITE TEST
The Parkzone F4F Wildcat
REVIEW

This is a little show that we've been trying to get off the ground.:D
We'd love your feedback! If you'd like to see more shows like this please spread the word to help us get an audience. Clap

FliteTest - Review of the Parkezone F4F Wildcat BNF

Key Features:
    Ready to fly in minutes
Full 4-channel control (throttle, aileron, elevator and rudder)
    3S 11.1V 1300mAh Li-Po battery and balancing charger included
    Spektrum™ AR500 DSM2™ 5-channel sport receiver installed
Powerful 480-size 960Kv brushless outrunner motor installed
Dual aileron servos for precise control
Battery compartment accommodates most 1800-2100mAh Li-Po packs (sold separately)
Scale details include realistic paint scheme, molded panel lines, simulated retractable landing gear and hand-painted pilot figure
Only requires a full range DSM2 aircraft transmitter (sold separately)
This is a sweet flying airplane! I wasn't expecting much when I bought it. Once I got in the air, it quickly became my favorite plane. It definitely helps to have some flight time under your belt before fliying this this one… it's fast! I recommend using the elevator and the rudder together to get a tight snap roll. Parkzone did a great job of building the power system (prop/motor/esc/battery). I find myself flying at 3/4 to full throttle a lot and nothing gets hot. If you love warbirds, and speed, I highly recommend this plane.

Whoah, what a review!Clap Two thumbs up! It's like watching a profesional movie.
    Excellent editing and play.
I guess you could do the same with the HK planes ... .

Not really such a good review.

No mention that the AR500, while a full-range receiver, has not been without its critics, many of who have had "unexplained loss of control" incidents when using these units.

I'll wait until they do their first review of a bad product before I make judgment though.  Lots of folks are lining up to give good reviews for products -- very few are willing to call a spade a spade -- since it's much harder to get "free stuff" and advertising revenues when you actually find fault with things.

I had spectrum gear for about 3 months (AR500) but i never did get a chance to use the rest of the brand. the spit fire fell from the sky full throttle and was never the same.

turnigy 9X and Corona has been great! I gave the spectrum junk to a mate to use on the flight sim and told him not to use it.

I understand your skepticism. I might think the same thing as you, if I weren't me.Big smile I can assure you that we have been very happy with the F4F Wildcat and everything we said is was how we feel. The F4F was our first review because it was my favorite plane! The only complaint I ever had with it was, they only include one propeller! I suppose we could have put that in there, but we didn't think of it at the time.

I am paying for this show out of my own pocket. We are not getting paid to do this (yet). We have no hidden agenda. I've owned 6 Spektrum RXs and a DX6i and they have all been wonderful. When I fly out of range (about 2500-3000 feet FPV) the motors pulse and it holds steady until it regains signal. Example:

I want people to know that we are giving our honest opinions based on what we know and our experiences. I'll be the first to tell you that I wouldn't pay two cents for an E-Flite servo... Yet I love thier balsa planes! We're reviewing the Spektrum DX8 next... and I'll tell you now, all the comments won't be postive.

I have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment from both Horizon and Hobby King. They both have disappointed me at times and both have made me very happy. We'll just continue doing what we do because we love it! And hopefully people are able to get something from it.

Please feel free to continue commenting... we are listening!
        Kind regards,
        Chad Kapper

Haha, and parkzone wont pay for reviews unless they own your company.
Spektrum DSM2 technology is quite 'baseline'. I wouldnt say it's 'hi-tech' at all.
