My RC8T driveline is okey and i run it very often. i i like the caster setup. but some time ago i have seen some results from the caster buggy and it was bad. maybe they are better now. but i have to say that we run it on 6s with a 2300 Kv motor.

I converted a Losi 8ight nitro to electric using the EZ-RUN 150A ESC/Motor combo and Turnigy 5000mah 4S lipo and it is a great setup, very fast but the motor does get very hot after a 6 minute race.
The ESC is huge but stays nice and cool and I was able to fit it in my TeknoRC conversion kit just fine after drilling two holes in the chassis to mount it.
