I'm planning on purchasing the Assan GA-410 Tail Lock Gyro.
I'd like to know what Hobby City servos work best with this gyro.
I'd prefer to use digital servos over analog.
Anyone have servo suggestions?
TIA
Garry

This gyro supports analog servos only.

Does anyone know why there is a second switch next to the directionswitch. It's not reachable throught to access hole. But I can see it when I hold the gyro at an angle. Or am I mistaking a part for a switch. If it's a digital switch, the range of servos would increase to faster more accurate servo's.

I use this gyro in my HK450. I observed a strange behavior: When I move the rudderstick on the transmitter, the servo is moving the first half part (0 to 50% of the stickway) very fast respectively very wide, but for the rest of the stickway it almost doesn’t move at all. Its like the opposite of the expo-setting. Has anybody observed the same behavior? does anybody know why? Thanks for your answers!! |

I think that is normal behaviour in HH mode. If you spin the heli the servo will re-centre.

Hi volks!
I have a question about this gyro. I use the gyro on a HK450 with MKS-DS480 tail servo. My transmitter is a Graupner MX-12, the recevier is a 8 channel dual conversion HITEC. After I turn the heli on, and the gyro boots up, the LED on the gyro lights solid red. If I move the rudder stick to the left/right endpoint the LED begins to blink. If I change the EPA value of the rudder channel to ~20% the LED stays solid red. What do I wrong? |
