I had this happen once again on the ground in front of my house (was playing with lighting). The cure was to move the transmitter a few steps away from the receiver.  It appears that sometimes when I initialize with the transmitter and receiver close together (~1 ft) sometimes the receiver doesn't link up right. Still very infrequent though (2x only).

On another note I've been flying the crap out of the frsky and loving it. The real test will be if I can get a fpv system setup :)

Hello,

I'm from Spain.

This week i received my v8ft and v8fr combo to install in my t9cp radio.

But... I have the same Mike's problem

Swith on with no button pressend and the led lights green with quick blinking.

Transmiter and receiver are working, the servos moves.

If i press the button on  the transmitter module when swith on radio and after few seconds release it, the led gets totally off. In this "mode" nothing happens, no servo signal send to receiver.

If i press the button ( quick o for few seconds) when the radio is on ( led blinking in green) and release , nothing happens, so i don´t know if range check fuction is working.

Can be a problem with the led? o its connection ? or iths solder position?

Thanks in advace. Please reply hobbyking.

Greetings.

Greetings.
As mentioned before, I have one with exactly the same problem. The module seems to be stuck in Range Test mode. HK do not want to know unless it is sent back to them (not economical in my opinion). I have since bought another module from a supplier in my country. That one is working okay, I will not use the faulty one, not worth risking an airframe over.

Hello.
If it´s work bad, send to China. No problem and they have money you  again.
If it´s expensive by certificate, send it by normal post.
Usually not lost,it is a risk.
A month ago,I send a bad servo by mail normal.(no track )
This week I received another FrSky  and 4 Receivers and all OK.
Greetings.

Hola Juanpe87

Hi again,

While I've returned the combo for RMA to hobbyking, i'm thinking in the conversion of a
Multiplex Cockpit MM with the universal FRSKY module to integrate inside transmitter.

But the question is: Is this module affected for this issiue? Any chance with this type of module?

Thanks again.

Regards.

I´ve checked today that the faulty item has been received in HK. I was waiting a returned good one for replacement, but only the have done me a cash refund. By now, I have lost the returning shipping cost ( I assume it) but I not agree the lost my initial order shipping costs due to a quality problem o faulty item from hobbyking.

I have wroten an email to HK to clear this.

Ragards.
