I have used something else with great success. Here in the states it is called "Carpenters wood glue" I use it on foam and balsa models. It does not dry fast so you have working time with it. I have glued wing halves together, repaired tails from the dreaded "hanger rash" ie close a door on it or smash it in a door way drop on the tail etc. It will not eat the foam and you can use it to fill gaps.

Sure you can, but the problem is clamping it down long enough for the glue to dry. It's too slow working.

You're better off just using regular UHU that is sold cheap. Don't need uhu por at all.

Test Uhu standard on a piece of scrap before anything else - in common with most acetate based adhesives it can melt the foam
I don't care what it says on the profile - I'm so NOT GB!

I use "PermaPoxy 5 minute General Purpose Epoxy" as well as 15 minute Epoxy Mid-Cure. Never had a problem with either, especially love the PermaPoxy with a strength of over 3400 psi

I've done two Fun Fighters with epoxy. Put one of them into the deck last week and broke the fuse in two - but all the epoxy joints remained intact.

I'll keep using epoxy, but will make more of an effort after reading this thread to wipe surfaces with alchohol first to clean them.
