i was having servo gitters and just plauged it to a cheap servo and gyro . i ended up changing the foam on the gyro to a thicker one and the gitters went away . dont kiow if it will help others but using a thicker foam seems to help with this gyro , i also didnt do anything to it like open it and glue it with silicone, just thicker tape.

You better do the support mod. When it is broken it's too late.
 
Mine 401B went CRAZY when I tried with a thin foam strip, and with a thick strip I could set gain a lot higher than before. :)
