You are totally right. Mine also broke during flight . The construction is just to thin.

i am not taking any chances and orderd the align part . it seems that the align part has renforcment braces on the sides like their plastic mount , i would recommend the align plastic or metal mount to be safe.

I've not had a tail servo mount fail yet, though I've gone thru two motor mounts. The alloy seems very soft, and the fracture points looked similarly porous. If and when my servo mount does fail, I will replace it with the Align or Tarot plastic one, which looks like a far more sensible design.

I Have just experienced this mount breaking on my 450GT Pro. I have about 40-50 flights on it and while doing some forward flight the mount broke loose.

This is definitly a flaw in the casting of the metal. I have heard many instances of this occuring. Just take a look on RCgroups and helifreak forums. There are some aftermarket parts available that have a reinforced servo mount and they are also cheaper than the Align ones.

My HK450 GT Pro V2 (metal servo mount) broke after 5 flights. This part is of bad quality, for sure.
