Can't find the Turnigy Rogue or the spare fuse that used to be listed anymore...
I built one up last soaring season and didn't hardly get a chance to fly it..only one maiden..which proved it was tail-heavy and overpropped w/ a 10X6....
Soooo...this season I finally got the time/conditions/favorable thermaling weather....and WOW!!! THIS PLANE ROCKS!!!
It's a thermalin' machine to be sure!! I put on 9X6 folding blades, added weight to the nose and it just goes and goes...very responsive to lift! I am VERY impressed! (and my friend who has a Mulitplex EZGlider is VERY jealous, lol....the Rogue is just so much larger that it eats up thermals for breakfast...finds them even when ya think there aren't any!
Great job on this Plane HC...shame to discontinue it! I realize the "Easy Fly" is probably the same airframe...just RTF and not a kit...well, I enjoyed picking my own components (all HC stuff) and built myself a winner!
I can list all components if anyones interested.
Bud, happy Bud

If it´s the same plane than the easyfly, then I´m very interested in your setup. Especially motor, prop, spinner, esc...
Thanks

Well, it just so happens I listed the parts in a little thread on it over on RCGroups:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1268462 Includes HK links to all the parts, pretty much. ![]() Not sure if the Easyfly is exactly the same as the Rogue, in the Easyfly photo I see that the wing joiner setup is different...but the dimensions look about the same, so most likely the same parts should work...and hey it's only foam...we have sharp knives if it doesn't fit exactly. ![]() -Bud |
