I'm looking for a movable engine mount like in the this video:

I like to get a kite at my local kite shop and convert it to R/C by hooking up of one of those
devices, because the original models are way to expensive to me and
even not available in my country yet.
Anyone know if HK has such item available?
TIA

Have you considered using this:

It should hold small motor nicely ;D

There is even "L" version: http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12875

That camera mount will not be strong enough, there are gyroscopic forces involved!!!

You might be surprised about how much it can hurt.

I like to make this model since they're not available for European market:

The kites only are available and would like to add my own RC drive system to it. Even if they came available overhere, I woudn't buy it though because of the big selling price (300-400 usd)

Nice on, thanks for posting.
at 1:09 its clearly visible, - and i would go for a pan/tilt unit too -that mechanism does not look like it operates a huge motor
