(And btw, at least 90% of that video is the PILOT, not the plane!)

You will find if you purchase a T/M plane you'll receive the IC mount, but I noticed that
Hobby king models are not supplied with IC mounts even if listed in the instruction book. Work that one out ![]() |

That's not at all a 3D capable airplane, have too small control surfaces for that.

Some observations about this plane after having flown (and crashed) it for a while now:
* Start with very small control throws! I started with around 8mm deflection on ailerons and elevator and this was plenty of control for getting used to this plane. * It wants to fly faster than a foamy warbird, and doesn't like to slow down as much. It will tip-stall, especially at slower speeds, so I try to stick to small and smooth control movements when landing. Be prepared for a higher landing speed. I have successfully used flaperons on landing, which slowed it down a bit, but even more care is needed then. * Takeoffs can be interesting, speed is needed. I try to let it fly off the ground when it's ready with only a little up elevator. Watch for sudden rolling at liftoff, it's susceptible to crosswinds and tip stalling. Once in the air and at speed this is a great plane and a lot of fun. It flies very smoothly and is very capable aerobatically. I am using a 15 size 960KV motor, 9.5x7.5 prop, and 3S 2200Mah battery. |

Hi there,
anyone wants to share more of his knowlwdeg about this plane? I'm not new to RC modelling but didn't do anything in the last 25 years… so no clue about BL outrunners, LiPos and so on, just trying hard to programm my th9xV2 to the Funcopter I bouth by mistake… I have here 3s starting from 2000mAh up to 3600mAh and one 4s1800… not delivered yet but planned to be used with the Funcopter… Can anyone please let me know the max size in mm for Engine, diameter x lenght (I guess I can cut off from the engine hiolder as much as I want and restrenghten it again) What would you say should be the max weight of the engine, I have found some interesting ones starting at 150gr up to 200gr… Aileron servos, I guess in each side there is space for one, I'D like to use a bit bigger ones, what is the max size in there? LiPo…which could fit in max? What is your total weight, ready to go? What are your experiences with a bit more load than planned…? I'm afraid to end up having a small fat bird not able to fly or only with full throttle for 2 Minutes. I want to fly it more or less scale aerobatic, no 3D needed for my old brain, cruising for about 20 Minutes would be perfect with the one or the other roll and loop… Cheers Mike |

Just found a lot of posts about this one…
• max weight should be 1000gr in total • the lighter the better • stalls quite fast • rolls over left wing easily when using ELEV • only for fast flight • CG around 68mm from wingfront • nervous and stalls easily during landing So guys, anyone here to let me know to buy or not to buy. I have flown years ago 4Ch airplanes, now with the Solo Pro V2 I don't crach that much anymore and the Funcopter left ground already a few times without hitting it hard back… Is this anything for me? THX |
