Can anyone verify the 469g weight?
 Andrew 17 points
Mine weighs in * 496 grams
 ____3D 21 points
Mine is about 480g...but that's totally ok
 Nickbeamz 24 points
495 to 500 average. I have 10 of these and they are all in this range even if you trim down the wires

I've ben considering this pack also, I just orderd 2 5s 5000mah 30c. Curious what I'm going to get for qaulity for the stupid cheap price ?

After chatting with customer support tonight, they tell me it will be late April or early May. I guess that's not so bad since next week is last week of the month...
 flyboy69 77 points
TJ, thanks for the new ETA.
 T J Gilbert 36 points
Looks like we're getting the run-around. Above now states mid to late May! If someone moderates this discussion, I'd appreciate a Hobby King response to these excessive B/O times... These batteries are good, and worth the wait, but I've got a hungry helicopter that needs one soon.
 T J Gilbert 36 points
Talked to Support about mid to late May. Seems their supplier is delaying shipment for some reason. They have run ads in RC-Heli magazine and others for these fantastic Zippy packs, but now they can't deliver...
 flyboy69 77 points
TJ,
I paid for my complete order on 3/24. It is now 5/5. I can do without the battery for awhile but I could sure use the other things on the order. If you cancel the battery order they still charge the shipping fees for it. This does not seem right to me that they do this.
 T J Gilbert 36 points
Yeah, that's what I found out too. My main reason for this order was the batteries. I generally add a few wish list items to save on the unused freight. I even offered to move up to a more expensive battery last night, but they are out of everything large (4000 mAh+) in 4S configuration. All-Battery in CA has a 4S 5000 mAh 15C for $99.99. Other than Hobbycity, they appear to be the cheapest.

5/18/09 Customer Service tells me these batteries are due in late this week. Let's hope this comes true...
 flyboy69 77 points
T J,
5/24/09 It looks like this did not happen either. This is getting real old.
 T J Gilbert 36 points
I'm going to keep on waiting. Surely they can't continue to sell products that need, use, and service lipo batteries without selling the batteries themselves. Too many forums list the merits of the Zippy batteries too. There's just some strange supply problem going on. If the damn things would ever get in, I might even order a couple more.
 T J Gilbert 36 points
5/26/09: Well, the batteries are finally in stock! As soon as I get mine, I'll try them out, and if acceptable, as promised, I'll put 2 more on order...
It seems like Christmas we've been waiting soooooooo long!
T J Gilbert  36 points - 4/23/2009

I agree on the slow website!
Think I'll try calling them.
 HF_ATL_ 12 points
so 469g weight is not true?

I also have had an order pending and paid for some time. This batter was to arrive early to mid April. It is now the 22nd. I have other items on my order that I need now. This website is so slow sometimes it is hard to buy or check on anything.
T J Gilbert  36 points - 4/22/2009

This item has been backordered on my pending order for some time. Anyone know when they will be back in stock?

Do you carry a bullet connector that I could use to connect to the ESC?
 ____3D 21 points
you can look under "Hardware & accessories" and "Wires & Plugs" and then "Battery/ESC/Motor Plugs & Wire"

10 thumbs up!
I have had the zippy-h 5000 for a while now. if these packs hold up the same they are a great buy. NOTE: only the shrink wrap hold these cells together. I cut the shrink off mine and double side taped together and wrapped back up with gorilla duct tape. I run these in my 1/8 conversions and the banging and moving would make the cells move around. GREAT PRICE FOR THE PERFORMANCE!

Warning! I ordered two packs and received one with red and black wires exchanged - black was soldered to battery plus and red was soldered to battery -. Service connector was soldered properly.

So be sure to check polarity before your first charge. You can damage your balancer/charger and/or the battery!
