The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
This battery like all TURNIGY's, will discharge at the said rate without voltage sag. Unlike other packs that call themselves 25 or 30C but really drop voltage 10-20% when pushed to the limit.
i have a walkera 400d coax heli i came with a 1600mah 20c 11.1v lipo
does any 1 know what is the max discharge rate it will handle
would 1 of these 25 c 2200 turnigy be ok? .or could 1 go any higher?
Hello David, the Walrus is indeed a great little plane. As you are probably are aware, it is designed to be flown with a 1300mah 3S battery. Whilst the 2200 3S can be made to fit, it is not necessarily a better choice. With the 1300 battery the model balances perfectly, at the position where the servo wires are run. Being that much heavier, the 2200 will require the model to fly a little faster and used a little more power. It will also cause the model to be nose-heavy, unless you position it back very close to the servo arms, which is not an ideal location. If you haven't done so already, i suggest you try it with a 1300mah battery, which are not too expensive from HK.
Great battery but check the power connector (XT60) is soldered in the correct polarity! I bought two of these and one was correct the other was not, good job I spotted it before powering up my ESC.
