The Hobbyking Extra 260 is a genuine 3D performer. This model is easy to put together and will have you doing knife-edges at your local field within an hour and a half of opening the box!

As well as all the servo's, motor & ESC being pre-installed, this model cleverly needs no glue at all to assemble, the tailplane and steering tailwheel are connected by 2 bolts, the 1pc wing simply bolts on under the magnetic canopy. Made from super tough EPO, decals are pre-applied, under-carriage is tough alloy with pre-fitted plastic spats and is another bolt on item. The Lipoly hatch is in the nose for fast battery changes.

A combination of low flying-weight, large control surfaces and plenty of power from the pre-fitted brushless motor spinning a large SF prop means a great performer at any speed. The Hobbyking Extra 260, whilst ideal for the 3D flyer on high rates, is also an easy to fly model once set up on low rates, making it a good choice for the sport & intermediate pilot looking to fly some less extreme aerobatics.

What are the control throws for Hi and Low rates? didn't get a manual with the box and everything I have found online doesn't show the throws. Thanks

is this a good model for training 3D ? I fly with my trainer .46 sport i have made a Extra 300 50CC, soo , i want to have some 3D expirience before flying with my Extra 300 50cc bad english sorry

Very good plane. Motor and esc could do with beefing up. Very capable model and well above my skill level. Not sure on your 300 50cc but this plane is cheap so not great deal if you smash it.

Like it?

This plane has a nice finish and goes together easily. The control rod linkages broke immediately, so get some others. It required different hinges as the factory ones broke on the first flight. The worst thing however was the motor. On a 3 cell with a 9x5 prop there was barely enough power for it to fly, let alone do 3D. 'Sadly' mine crashed and I'm happy to not replace it. More trouble than it's worth stock. I believe if you put you own motor, servos etc. in the fuselage would be quite nice
