I made my own with a JST male from an old brushed motor. Soldered it to a couple of banana plugs. I use this for all my JR Transmitter packs and doubles as a cable for charging my JST packs. It's worked for many years with my Nicads and NMIH packs and also with these LiFe packs.
There's a multi-charge cable under the battery chargers section that might help if you don't want to make your own. Pic below. If you need more, let me know.

I just purchased a Turnigy 9X and I'm looking at this battery for it and have a couple of questions. Does the discharge plug fit the Turnigy or does it have to be replaced. I noticed it is rated at 5c would it be O.K to run the same voltage with a 20-30c battery. Hope somebody has run one of these in their Transmitter can give me some feedback on them.

Yes this works in the 9x, it is a tight fit but it does fit and works well. You may need to change the discharge plug. easy fix for this is to use the discharge plug that comes with the 9x (the plug that is connected to the AA battery carrier). Hope that helps
Thanks for the info elolz Au I was hoping that I would not have to cut the lead of the AA battery case. You would think they would make a compatible plug or a converter plug. Maybe Hobby King could get a manufacturer to make a conversion plug. I have purchased to 2x 3.7v LiPo batteries and was going to make a 7.4 volt set 2400Mah but you need to solder a resistor in to stop the low voltage warning or have the radio flashed with different firmware to lower the low voltage warning. So I will probably get the 2500Mah Zippy FlightMax.
you dont have to cut the lead from the aa battery case, just remove the plastic plug on the battery case by pushing the metal prongs inwards. If you look at the connection you will see the black and red wire, they can be removed from the plug without any damage.
Thanks for that...I have this pack in a 9X and it seemed to have puffed after reflashing the firmware which i find odd. Ill set the alarm to 3.3V for the next battery :-) Cheers
I'm not familiar with your JR Tx models and a quick web check on the factory battery specs yielded zilch. However, these batteries are intended as replacements for the old style 8xNiCd Tx batteries (long and square) which typically measure 28mm x 28mm across the narrow dimensions. There's usually a foam pad they rest on in the Tx. Removing that foam will give you the few extra mm you need to be able to just squeeze these into the compartment. Cheers!
This battery is LiFe chemistry and has a different nominal voltage per cell then LiPo. Almost all multi chemistry chargers have a charge profile for LiFe batteries. I hope this helps.
A tight fit in the 9x and needed to solder correct connectors..
The original AA battery carrier in the 9x sometimes has a problem with losing contact because of the batteries tight fit.. This LiFe will solve that worry..
Need to create a data file in the B6 so to charge it correctly..

Works great in the 9x. Don't even have to change the connector. It's not the perfect fit but is tight I have had no problems

Perfect battery for Turnigy 9X. Although you need to solder in the correct plug to fit 9X. (I used the plug from the original AA battery holder).
I also soldered in a male JST plug from a dead 2s lipo I had laying around, and thats what i use to charge it.
