Does the warranty cover the cost of the plane you loose if you get a dud battery and it causes a crash?.

No...Ive ordered over 50 Lipos from HK.. Nanos Zippys Turnigys and all have been good.

Your doin better than me , i'v bought about 70 and at least 25 havn't given proper service ,some no service at all ,some just death and distruction of my valuble planes. I have some batterys with over 500 cycles and still going fine so its not me .

This battery would have to be twice as good and last twice as long as the standerd 20-30c battery at $8:49 to be twice the price ???????

The 20-30C has slightly lower current supply rating, these are 30-40C, also these can be charged at 2C so much quicker recharge times means you don't have to have so many at the field - just recharge them while flying/using another. I've had the older Zippys and would never buy another after these newer ones. Also would recommend these over the turnigy any day.

great battery,i bought 5 of these for my trex 450 sport.they all turned up at 3.8 volts and charged perfectly to 4.20 each cell.i get 4.5 min of flight only using 70pcnt of the battery.inmo they are a great battery for the 450.

This has to be the best 2200mAh 30c lipo I've bought yet(have quite a few of them now. 2300/2400 mAh is normal even after many charges/balances. you just can't buy a better battery for such a good price.

The other reviews says it all - simply an awesome battery. On a 450 heli, hovering time = 7 minutes, landed V = 3.85/cell, recharge = 1050mAh or close. On a 15 size plane, roughly 350 to 400W, flight time around 8 minutes, battery landed at 3.8v/cell. All cells have been very close values with no wide deviations so far. Very happy with the newer Zippy batteries. They make up almost all of the batteries I now have (close to 30 various sizes), I've ditched all the other brands including Hyperion (only because of cost).
