Done the testing wih CS 70mm 10 blade and 12 blade. The both pulled the similar numbers as following*
996 Watt with 4S 2200 50C. Motor does heat up to around 50 Celcius with continuous full throttle. The motor is strong* however, the drawback is the heavy weight. For small single 70mm EDF jet, this motor doesn't seem to be a good choice because of the heavy weight. Turnigy L2855 2800kv seems to be a better choice.
Turnigy L2855 2800kvpull over 1000 Watts with the same setup* however, this motor is siginificantly lighter than XK2860 2700kv. L2855 2800kv also heats upto around 50 Celcius with continous full throttle.
Depends on size of boat. Mine is going into a Villian EX. Just 1 motor on 3S and most likely a 432.Why* i had a 36 56 2600 on 3S with a HK blue 31 25 13 prop and EX was almost uncontrollable. Higher pitch dances all over.
Combat109 this motor is pretty high kv for most planes unless it's a pylon racer. I wouldn't run it with anything bigger than a 6x4 prop on 3 cells. 5.5x5.5 or 5x5 would probably be better. Would be best to check with a watt meter.
Got this motor for an edf tried it on 5s 600 watt and 1000 watt it gave athrust of 1\0.9 w\g in a edf unit that with aregular motor would give 1\1.4 - 1\1.5 w\g so i can say this motor has very low efficency avery high price, i dont need to say also this motor can not be opened in eny way so can not be driled in it holes for exra cooling and can not be replaced bearings (its head is not scewable and there are no screws on it)
stil im not an expert in rc cars this experiance is onley as for experiment use in a edf unit

Running this in my funjet on 4s making 950w at 61A. Have run for several months now without problems. Motor runs at around 40 degrees and hasn't missed a beat. Very strong motor.
