Hi. Im new to planes and small brushless motors. Can anyone suggest a similar motor like this one available in the dutch warehouse please. I want to get a bonsai EPP wing 600mm and all parts are available in the warehouse except the motor.
Thank you
I know it isn't wise but for quite a while I was running this on 3s system. I used the 10/12a HK esc and a turnigy 500 3s battery. It was a screeeeeemer. Of course it fried after about 30 flights but was a ton of fun until then. Probably could've extended the life if I didn't have it on WOT all the time.
Plan to use this in a 25" foamy... will post an update when
I get it up and flying. What battery should I use with this to get about 3-4 mins of 3D? I am thinking 260-400mAh. Would I be right?
I Have this little motor (HK1612) on my bonsai, on a 2s pack and performance is ok. Has anyone tried it on 3s? I Don't know if it can handle it. if not can anyone suggest an upgrade motor for the bonsai?
Ich habe den Motor bestellt und nach einer Woche wurde er ohne Probleme in Deutschland ausgeliefert. Das Pä*ckchen wurde auch vom Zoll kontrolliert und nach der Prü*fung an mich versendet.
I used the 3S accumulators for this engine ... :) It is not burned! :-Dhttp://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/%5F%5F11 897%5F%5FTurnigy%5Fnano%5Ftech%5F460mah%5F3S%5F25%5F 40C%5FLipo%5FPack.html
The cox nitro motors use 5x3 props, look under coxinternational.ca I bought mine off e b a y , but they only spin them to 22,000rpm, I'm using a cox competition prop 5x3x2 on my mini skywalker, with a 5000kv motor and 1000mah 3s 25c battery and I'm hoping it will stay together, not flown it yet, still assembling,
I like the test results chart you list for this motor, wish you did it for all you motors.

Received this motor today, all it wants to do is jitter back and forth. Going to take it apart to see if anything is wired wrong.
Looks like it is time to see what kind of system Hobby King has for Defective merchandise returns.

I got it working. Turned out to be operator error. Didn't get one of the leads fully soldered to the connector. HK needs an edit function to their review system.

Nice little BL! Gives the Bonsai-Wing enough power for light aerobatics w/ a 2S 700mAh LiPo and 6x3 Prop. Flight times are about 20min w/ moderate aerobatics. Climbing at 45 degrees are no issue with this one. A bit of con: The wires like to brake easy. be aware to bend them often.
Tres bon moteur mais n'as pas fais l'effet escompter sur mon F3P de 115g ( avec accu)par contre très bien sur un minimag pour l'ecolage.

Just put it on today. Did a small test of 'Pull power' Got it to pull 144g, with a 5/3 prop far from the 170 they say. ! Did not get hot at all. :)Looks like a good build. More to come when I have been out flying.
