That doesnt make any sense...The cost of shipping would not add 1/3rd of the price of the battery...If that is the case..why was I able to get a Dynam(HK) Catalina shipped from NSW for $164 HK 15178 servos only go up by a few cents..Your reply wasnt worth 200 point either.
As much as I like to pay no more than necessary for everything I buy (as with most of us) there's a few things I take into account when I see prices here. #1 how much would I normally have to pay for an item of the same quality at the local hobby shop. Not less than thirty bucks in most cases for a pack like this! It's also more than just shipping costs I can see. Aussie warehouse, Aussie jobs, Aussie wages, great Aussie quality of life. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to pay less but $4 and I can get it in 3 days not 15. Fair enough I say. Good work HK.
Hi guys i have just purchased a axn floater jet, and was wonderig what is the best battery to use in these, i see that recomended is 2200 but what c rating should i use, is the 20c enough for this plane or do i need higher, sorry guys im a newbie and dont understand the c rating of batteries.
The best thing to do is de-solder the XT60 plug and replace it with the Deans (Tplug). Make sure when doing this you dont short the two wires together and make sure you solder the Deans connector the right way.
A good idea is to choose one sort of connectors that you like and use them for all your models, makes for easier flying. Be carefull with other forms of connertors, deans for example have a cheaper immitation brand which is prown to disconnecting in flight. Hope this helps!
An even better idea would be to remove the other kinds of plugs from your hanger and replace all with XT60s. I just received two packets of 5 pairs from HK and have soldered them up to everything I own. They are really solid and easy to use. Great also that they are back in stock too.
Why is it that prices for AUS warehouse items are in US dollars? This is not stated on the item description or price! Luckily the USD is pretty close to AUSD otherwise I'd be very annoyed if the exchange rate was bad!

You would think it easy to do that.
I may be mistaken but I think changing to AUD makes no difference to the pricing, it's the same dollar amount, US or AUD, I don't think they do a currency check and price accordingly.
Must be they hate me because I changed from US($11.99) to AUD ($11.99) and back to US and this battery is still $11.99. Perhaps when the AUD drops below parity they'll start converting the currencies?
Its an international store, hence the prices in USD, even with this being in the aussie warehouse. It also makes prices easy to compare with others in the site, could you imagine searching the site with some items in Euros, some in USD some in AUD. It would just be confusing and wouldn't work
Battery seems to be holding capacity well. Nice cheap battery and buying from Aus as a seperate order vs. paying for lipo postage from HK is cheaper... plus fast battery delivery is always nice.
very powerfull and relaible battery, even if run below 3.7V per cell regularly

I have had problems with charging my Turnigy 1.3 mah on my Imax B6AC (getting a reading low battery) and it would not charge so I connected it to a Power Adaptor for a phone 9V DC 300mA and it gets the battery past the low and it then charges perfectly
