Does anyone know the weight of this? It says 443g in the description but the 531g down the bottom...

Hi, i just bought one of these batteries for the Hornet Formula-1, i dont know anything about batteries, what charger would you recomend ?

i very highly recommend you do some research on how to look after lipo's befor u use them(as they are very dangerous if mistreated). for a charger you will need a charger capable of charging 3s lipo's with balance charging

Hi I just bought two of these for my Traxxas E-maxx brushless. Do you think they will be any good? I noticed they have bullet connectors. Does that mean I will have to change the connectors on my ESC to bullet connectors?

They will be great at testing the durability of your Emaxx drive train. The batteries are great, i have used them in my E-Revo. Too fast for me. Cut the bullet connectors off and either put on deans or traxxas plugs.

id say keep the connections on as it is a 40-50c battery and with that much drainage capably deans or traxxas connections will heat up very quickly.

I paid for 4 of these on the 30/10/10 and i was told that they were dispatched on the 4/11/10, it is now the 16/11/10 so my question is... Where the hell are my batteries Hobbyking??? it's been nearly 2 weeks since they were "sent" from australia warehouse and I live in the same city and still have not recieved them!! (have tried traking with supplied tracking number, have tried emailing HK) massive let down as I have not been able to compete in two events whilst waiting! will I get my batteries? will I get a refund? or will I get nothing???

i know were your coming from i had the same issue with an engine the best person to contact is the manager, go on online chat then tell then your issue if it is not solved ask to talk to the manager.

I bought 2 of these, both came with balanced matching cells. They seem very powerful so I would say the 40c rating is pretty acurate. Very please and hope they last me for some time. Excellent value for money!

Great battery at a very reasonable price. Plenty of punch and only gets warm after a full run in my 80cm boat. Hardly warmer than ambient temp when used in any of my cars. Ordered on the weekend and its here the following Wednesday. Thanks again Hobbyking.

Run these in my Revo in a 6S setup. Great cells. Out of 6 packs one had a cell that come with voltage little bit lower than others but after putting it through a few cycles on my charger it is back up with others and performing well. I have my Revo geared for 62mph on 6S with a Castle 1518 motor. Packs get only a little warm. Maybe just a few degrees over ambient. Hold their voltage very well under load too. The only draw back with these packs is the 8awg wires. It wouldn't worry me too much normally but the Revos battery compartment is tight and the 8awg wires get in the way of closing the door. What I did was changed the 8awg wires for 10awg Turnigy wire and routed the wires to come out the top of the pack to suit the Revos battery compartment better. I know I kissed my warranty good bye but they are performing great and I don't think I will need it. Great cells and I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately the battery left allot to be desired, the protruding cables mean its difficult to fit this into most battery compartments even fairly open ones like that of the traxxas slash. also due to its weight, its higher c rating does not make up for the weight causing performance loss.
